I did this series of experiments as part of a class I’m taking. I don’t want to explain the actual assignment in detail since it’s someone’s course.
I didn’t really limit palette that much, just tried to use up colors of ink and acrylic that I don’t like it used that much of. I worked from a reference photo of myself and used paper with other failed experiments on it.
The goal is to find things I actually enjoy doing. I enjoy working fast. I enjoy accidents. I enjoy garish colors. I enjoy representational. I enjoy textures, both smooth and rough. I like layers. I like water soluble pastels
I hate too many scribbles. I hate demonic looking eyes. I hate smeared muddy marks. I hate too simple. I think I might not like posca pens.
